My Sweet Petunia Goes to Court

So My Sweet Petunia, makers of the useful but extremely overpriced MISTI,  are suing Tim Holtz, WRMK and Hampton Art over their stamping platforms. MSP has succeeded in forcing WMRK and Hampton Art's platforms off the market but Tim's is still out there, and I will be buying it, as I will not want to support a greedy business that can't handle competition. How about you? What do you think?

Prime Day and New Space

2016 is finally over. It was a pretty brutal year for many of us for many reasons.  What are your 2017 crafting resolutions? Mine is to use more of my stash and buy less.

I got a few crafting goodies for Christmas including a MISTI, a 132 set of Prismas and some Tim Holtz dies. How about you guys?

It's that time of year again! How are your holiday cards and projects going? What scrapping goodies are on your Christmas list? My demo gave me a copy of the Stampin Up Occasions catalog and they have a lot of really nice new stuff coming out.

I've been looking at the MISTI but it seems so overpriced to me and the heavy handed promotion in SCS is a real turn off. I have also heard that the MISTI owner's customer service leaves something to be desired. Thoughts?

Tim Holtz Moves On

Tim Holtz announced on October 3 that effective immediately he was stepping down as Creative Director of Ranger. He will stay on as a designer and his Distress Inks and other lines will continue.

Do you think this is a good move for him and Ranger?

Farewell Scrapsmacktoo!

Scrapsmacktoo has gone invite only. Sometime this afternoon Guess made it private, so it is no more unless she invites you-which seeing that everyone posted anonymously probably isn't possible. I'm not really surprised. The hate and monkey troll thing took their toll. Sad, at one time there were interesting conversations and good info there. Farewell!
